1. Log in to the contest gmail account

2. Use the advanced search feature to find all the emails for this contest. (Remember, you had created a custom contest email while making the app. All the contest emails sent to [email protected] were also sent to that email you made.)

3. Select all the emails brought up by the search (be sure to select all - not just the first 50)
4. Add a label to all of those emails. Name the label after the contest.
5. Go to that label. See how many emails have that label. Using a random number generator, pick one of those entries at random.
6. Contact that person using the sample template below (be sure to change the name of the business based on which account they entered the contest through):
Additionally, can you please send us a picture of yourself that we can post with our winner announcement?
7. If they do not respond within the business day, reach out again. If they don't respond within 24 hours, let them know that you will have to pick a new winner, then pick a runner-up to contact.
8. Once you have a response, send them their prize! Prizes are usually gift cards that can be ordered and sent directly to the winner's email. Occasionally, you might need to ask the winner for their address to ship a physical prize.
9. If the winner sends you their picture, send it to Kari when requesting a winner announcement graphic. If they do not, request the graphic without the winner's picture.
Note: For the past few years, we have sent gift cards to Disney as the prize for the Magical Vacation Giveaway/Disney Dreaming Contest.
